Why is it necessary to develop a local Roma inclusion strategy? What are the support mechanisms for local inclusive tools?
In his presentation “Inclusive approaches at the local level”, the representative of the Slovak government for Roma communities, Ing., provided answers to these questions as well. Ján Hero, who is also the guarantor of the project “Snina – a city of equal opportunities for all”. In the presentation, he justifies the need to develop a local strategy for the inclusion of Roma with an emphasis on support mechanisms for local inclusive approaches, especially in the areas of education, health, employment and non-discrimination.
